FAQ's
Why should I hire a mobile bar instead of organising the drinks myself?
Organising your own drinks might seem like the cheaper option, but there’s often much more involved than people expect. From buying and chilling the drinks to arranging glassware, staffing, licensing and clearing everything away afterwards, it can quickly become a big job.
When you hire The Rustic Pour, we take care of it all. You can relax knowing everything is organised professionally, leaving you free to enjoy your event alongside your guests.
Why choose The Rustic Pour?
Experience is what sets us apart. With over 70 years of combined hospitality management experience and thousands of successful events behind us, we know what it takes to deliver exceptional service.
Our bespoke German-designed mobile bar is also unlike a typical horsebox conversion or temporary setup. Fully self-contained with its own power and water supply, seven fridges and freezers, draught beer system and hot drinks facilities, it’s built to provide a premium bar experience almost anywhere.
If you’d like to see the bar before booking, you’re very welcome to arrange a visit.
Do I need to arrange a Temporary Event Notice?
No. We’ll organise the Temporary Event Notice on your behalf where one is required.
The cost is included within your booking fee, so there’s one less thing for you to think about. We’ll also ensure the application is submitted within the required timescales.
How much are your drinks?
How many guests can you cater for?
Our larger, purpose-built mobile bar allows us to serve high numbers of guests efficiently.
We’re ideally suited to weddings and celebrations with around 80 to 500 guests, while larger festivals and public events can be accommodated with additional chilled storage and equipment where required.
What time can the bar stay open?
We’ll apply for the serving hours you’ve requested as part of your Temporary Event Notice.
Opening times are subject to approval by the local licensing authority and any venue restrictions, so we’ll always work within the agreed hours for your event.
Do you provide bar staff?
Are you insured?
Where do you travel?
We’re based on Hayling Island and regularly provide mobile bar hire across Hampshire and the South Coast.
We typically travel within around 90 minutes of our base, but if your venue is further away, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to discuss your event.
